256 / 5 000 Hi, I noticed that if spotify was paused and left inactive, after about 10 minutes the connection is cut (error 204) do you have a solution so that the connection never cuts. Excellent tutorial is the code and easily understandable 👍

just want to say, i made the spotify controller with my dad but the code and pinouts were undocumented making it quite difficult. Got it working but just a little misleading to link parts but such little tutorial

I made, one and it works! Thank you so much for making this :) The only problem is that if you play a podcast it will become, unresponsive and you have to reset it and authenticate it again, also the heart indicator for liked songs isn't working and it doesn't show Japanese song titles.

A thing you have missed is the shields! Shields are a very good add on that can turn your UNO from a prototyping board into the final controller. For example, instead of a cumbersome DIY or a bought CNC controller, you can use a UNO+stepper driver shield to make your own controller! Or a shield to output sound in mp3 format using an SD card and speaker. Or a sensor pack shield (array of sensors). Or a PIC/AtTiny programmer. Or many many many more. I enjoy your videos, so thank you for starting this series! P.D. are you by any chance doing anything related to radio? Not IOT, but stuff like LoRa or the 433mhz radio. Anyways, I'll watch whatever you do. Thanks!

Nice guide. I built one and used some of your code (without the receiver parts), but I have to aim the remote straight ahead at the TV, and at like a maximum of 1m away for it to work. I used a transmitter I got from some old arduino starting kit though, so maybe that could be the main issue? Does your remote work at longer distances and okay angles?

is this device designed to always stay on? because it doesnt automatically "reconnect" if i turn it off and back on, i have to always press "log in to spotify" for it to start working. is there a way to automate that or is this not supossed to happen?
